Dietitian warns: "high protein" products are often a marketing trap

Cheese spreads, bars and snacks labeled "high protein" are growing in popularity among Poles, including those not following specialized diets. Dietitian Monika Rusinek warns that automatically considering protein products healthy is a common mistake. High protein content does not mean a product is nutritious — it may contain large amounts of sugar, fat or artificial additives.
