Expert panel to vote on blood test detecting 50 cancer types

Grail developed the Galleri blood test, which according to the maker can detect up to 50 types of cancer. An independent expert panel will vote on recommending the test for approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The vote outcome could open the way to broad use of the screening test in the United States.
