Japan: over 107,000 centenarians — record in country's history

Japan's Ministry of Health announced that the number of centenarians in Japan exceeded 107,000 for the first time. This is a dramatic change compared to 1963, when there were only 153. Among Japan's oldest citizens are people still active in work — farming or teaching dance.
