Japan: over 107,000 centenarians set new record in the country's history

Japan's Ministry of Health reported that the number of centenarians in Japan has exceeded 107,000 for the first time, setting an all-time record. By comparison, there were only 153 in 1963. Among Japan's oldest citizens are people still active — farming or teaching dance.
