Too little or too much sleep speeds up biological aging, study finds

Researchers analysing 23 biological aging clocks found that people sleeping between 6.4 and 7.8 hours per night showed the slowest aging. Both short and long sleep durations were linked to faster biological aging across the body. The study also associated abnormal sleep with conditions affecting the brain, heart, lungs, metabolism and digestive system.
