Rising CO₂ may be altering human blood chemistry, study spanning 25 years finds
Researchers analysing over two decades of US health data found that blood bicarbonate levels have risen by roughly 7% since 1999, while calcium and phosphorus levels have declined. These changes closely track rising atmospheric CO₂ concentrations. The findings suggest that increasing carbon dioxide may be leaving a measurable imprint inside the human body.
