Tennis linked to nearly 10 extra years of life — more than running or swimming

The Copenhagen City Heart Study, conducted on more than 8,500 people over 25 years, found that tennis is the sport most strongly linked to longevity. Tennis players lived an average of 9.7 years longer than physically inactive people. The result surpassed the benefits associated with running or swimming.
