Heatwave in Poland: watermelon and cold soups hydrate better than water alone
Dietitian Martyna Puc told PAP that during heatwaves the body loses electrolytes and minerals that plain water cannot replenish. Temperatures in south-eastern Poland may exceed 40°C. She recommends watermelon, cold soups and chia-seed milk as more effective ways to stay hydrated and restore electrolyte balance.
