Warsaw Stock Exchange drops 2.49% — blue chips lead decline
Poland's WIG20 index fell 2.49% on Wednesday, while the broader WIG dropped 2.02%. Intraday declines reached as deep as 2.8% and 2.4% respectively. Analyst Sobiesław Kozłowski told PAP Biznes that large-cap companies underperformed, while mid- and small-cap stocks held up relatively better.
