Lublin fruit growers left without compensation after frosts and heat waves
Spring frosts and summer heat waves destroyed fruit crops across the Lublin region, causing losses reaching hundreds of thousands of zlotys on some farms. Some growers, including Paweł Jaruga, who owns a two-hectare currant plantation, decided to completely liquidate their crops. The Lublin Chamber of Agriculture warns that affected farmers have still not received compensation. The Ministry promises assistance, but details have not yet been provided.
