Over 100 dB noise in London Underground: louder than a chainsaw

Passengers on the Victoria, Northern and Jubilee lines of the London Underground are exposed to piercing noise in the tunnels exceeding 100 decibels — louder than an operating chainsaw or power tool. The problem affects three of the network's key lines.
