Polish activist murdered in Ecuador uncovered Albanian gang money laundering network
Wirtualna Polska obtained documents gathered by Monika Silva-Koniuszek, a Polish woman murdered in Ecuador. The activist discovered a network of companies linked to Albanian gangs used to launder money from drug trafficking. Silva-Koniuszek notified the Ecuadorian government and the US embassy in Quito, but neither responded.
