Toruń: 41-year-old threatened shop clerk with death, had axe and gas
On the evening of October 29, a man threatened a shop clerk with death in one of the neighborhood stores in Toruń. Police officers on patrol arrested the 41-year-old resident — officers found an axe, a container of pepper gas and an object resembling a weapon in his bag. The man had previous convictions for crimes against liberty and property. On October 30 he was charged with making criminal threats; he faces up to 3 years in prison.
