Border Guard dismantles document forgery ring serving foreigners
Border Guard officers from Rzeszów-Jasionka dismantled a group operating from June 2022 through the end of 2025 that sold forged certificates of study at Ukrainian universities and secondary school credentials from schools in Piotrków Trybunalski. The documents were bought by citizens of Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus and Georgia to obtain residence and work permits in Poland. The investigation began after a liaison officer at the Podkarpackie Voivodeship Office detected irregularities. Six locations were searched, including in Pruszc Gdański and Żyrardów.
