Villa Regia of Władysław IV Vasa: Jan Kazimierz's favorite Warsaw palace

Władysław IV Vasa built Warsaw's third royal residence, named Villa Regia, later known as Pałac Kazimierzowski. Though Władysław IV initiated the construction, the palace became the favorite seat of his successor, Jan Kazimierz. The exact date of construction and the residence's original appearance remain unclear to historians.
