Kyiv Express hits 4% punctuality: on schedule about once a month
The Kyiv Express train connecting Kyiv to Warsaw through the Lublin region achieved only 4% punctuality this year — in practice running on schedule about once a month. In the first half of the year, delays at Poland's border were recorded 181 times out of 189 operating days, with arrivals in Lublin often 100 to 200 minutes late. The main cause is late handover of the train by Ukraine. A separate train from Chełm was considered but rejected by PKP PLK due to insufficient track capacity.
