Lublin city council rejects PiS motion to suspend Lviv cooperation
Lublin city council voted on a PiS proposal calling for suspension of cooperation with Lviv over a resolution by Lviv regional authorities regarding Roman Shukhevych and UPA. The motion did not reach the agenda — 12 councillors voted for it, 17 against. Councillors from Mayor Krzysztof Żuk's club were mainly opposed. PiS condemned the Lviv authorities' decision and UPA's responsibility for the genocide of Poles in Volhynia.
