Nearly 6,000 cigarette packs without tax stamps found in Citroën on Mazovia

Border Guard officers from the Sławatycze post detained a 37-year-old Lithuanian man in Wołomin County who was transporting cigarettes without Polish excise tax stamps in a Citroën delivery van. Authorities seized nearly 6,000 packs (119,580 units) worth over 120,000 zł on the market. The goods likely came from Belarus. Criminal and tax proceedings have been initiated, and the man faces a fine.
