Netflix fires film chief Dan Lin after dispute over "Narnia"

Dan Lin has been removed as head of Netflix's film division in another wave of layoffs — a week after a 6 percent reduction in staff that included content chief Bela Bajaria and Lin's deputy Doug Belgrad. Tensions with director Greta Gerwig over the "Narnia" project lay behind his departure. One Netflix insider commented: "Everyone is a victim of collective damage".
