Wizz Air boss: free cabin baggage would raise ticket prices

József Váradi, Wizz Air's chief executive, told Gazeta Wyborcza that introducing free cabin baggage would not be cost-free — extra weight on board increases flight costs. Airlines would have to factor this into ticket prices. According to Váradi, different pricing models are just different fee mechanisms, not real savings for passengers.
