ECB approves UniCredit's takeover of Commerzbank

The European Central Bank has approved Italian UniCredit's acquisition of German Commerzbank, AFP reported Thursday. Commerzbank is the controlling owner of Polish mBank, which is popular among Polish customers. UniCredit called the ECB's decision an "important milestone".
