Red containers at cemeteries: what are they for?

Red containers, distinct from regular trash bins, have appeared at cemeteries across Poland. They collect medical and hazardous waste — such as used memorial candles with batteries, candles and electrical components — that should not go into regular bins. Their presence is intended to protect the environment and ensure safety of municipal workers.
