UOKiK fines four banks nearly 150 million złoty for illegal clauses

The Office for Competition and Consumer Protection penalized Bank Pocztowy, ING Bank Śląski, Erste BP and Plus Bank with a combined total of almost 150 million złoty. The contested clauses in contracts allowed banks to unilaterally raise or introduce new fees and commissions. UOKiK deemed such provisions a violation of consumer rights.
