1.5 billion zloty from Recovery Plan for long-term senior care in homes
The government is allocating 1.5 billion zloty from the National Recovery Plan to develop long-term care enabling patients after strokes, surgery, and chronic disease flare-ups to return to their home environment instead of institutional facilities. The program provides round-the-clock care, medication, nursing and rehabilitation close to family. The goal is to reduce burden on families and improve seniors' quality of life.
