Polish gangster arrested after 5 years hiding in Germany

A 56-year-old Pole sought since 2021 for crimes from 2004–2005 — beatings, firing 6 shots in a public place, and kidnapping — spent years in hiding abroad. Łódź police from the Search and Identification Division tracked him down in Germany and secured his arrest through cooperation with European authorities. The man is also charged with thefts of semi-trailer trucks with ransom demands.
