Residence cards for 8,500 euros: gang busted, 11 arrested in Masovia
Border Guard and CBA officers arrested 11 people in Masovia, six of whom are suspected of involvement in an organized criminal group. The gang helped foreign nationals — mainly citizens of Russia, Belarus and Uzbekistan — illegally obtain Polish residence cards for an average of 8,500 euros. The operation relied on shell companies; investigators identified over 30 such entities and suspect the scheme also served money laundering.
