Single CRISPR therapy dose cut bad cholesterol over half for a year

A single dose of experimental CRISPR therapy lowered LDL cholesterol and triglycerides by about half in patients with hard-to-treat lipid disorders. Effects persisted throughout the year of observation: the highest dose cut LDL by 52.5% and triglycerides by 47.8%. This is a breakthrough in treating cardiovascular disease.
