Man fled police in stolen Opel in Gdańsk and crashed down embankment: five charges
On Tuesday on Biegańskiego Street in Gdańsk, officers spotted an Opel driving without lights. When they signalled the driver to stop, a 27-year-old fled, crashing into a tree and falling down an embankment at the intersection of Lubuska and Pohulanka Streets. The man had a court ban on driving, was in a stolen vehicle with false plates, and was carrying a stolen catalytic converter; he faces five charges, including theft of two catalytic converters worth at least 7,000 zloty.
