European gas prices exceed 326 PLN per MWh: more than double from a year ago

Gas prices in European contracts rose more than 3 percent in recent hours, reaching about 326 PLN per MWh. This is more than twice the price from a year ago. The increase is driven by lack of progress in negotiations between the US and Iran, stoking market fears about commodity supply.
