Green shield bug returns to homes in autumn: how to identify and handle it
In autumn, the green shield bug (commonly called "stink bug") increasingly finds its way indoors, seeking a warm place for winter. The insect appears on windowsills, curtains and balconies and is easily mistaken for a leaf from a distance. It should not be crushed—it emits an intense, unpleasant odor when disturbed. The best way to remove it is to carefully throw it outside or collect it using a piece of paper.
