Aramco scientists among IPCC climate report authors, Guardian reveals

A Guardian investigation revealed that experts writing IPCC reports — the world's most important climate assessments — include scientists affiliated with Saudi Aramco and other oil companies. Experts assess that the current IPCC conflict-of-interest policy "is not fit for purpose." One example is Mustafa Babiker from Saudi Aramco, who works as a co-author of reports influencing global climate policy.
