Sugar campaign in Lubelszczyzna region: 1.1 million tons of beets in processing

Krasnystaw sugar factory began cutting beets on 15 September and plans to purchase around 1.1 million tons of raw material from local growers, from which approximately 161 thousand tons of sugar will be produced. The campaign will run until 23 December, about 100 days of continuous operation. A few days earlier, Werbkowice sugar factory also announced readiness — both are located in the Lubelszczyzna region, one of Poland's key sugar production hubs.
