Gang trafficked 1.7 tons of gold and silver: CBŚP seizes metals and cash
The CBŚP, together with the Subcarpathian Customs and Tax Office in Przemyśl, dismantled an organized crime group that had illegally trafficked precious metal goods and laundered money since 2017. The gang introduced at least 1.7 tons of such goods into circulation, reducing public revenues by approximately 45 million PLN. During searches, officers secured 11 kg of gold, 6.5 kg of silver, and cash in various currencies worth over 80,000 PLN.
