Husband mailed bomb to Urszula S.: appeals court toughens sentence
Błażej K. from Siecieborzyc carefully planned his wife Urszula S.'s murder — he built a bomb and mailed it to her. The woman miraculously survived. The trial court sentenced him to 25 years in prison, but the appeals court found the sentence too lenient and took exceptional measures to protect the victims. Such rulings are extremely rare in Poland.
