Mushroom abundance in mid-September: porcini, chanterelles and more

Mid-September brought plentiful mushrooms across many regions of Poland. Foragers report baskets overflowing with porcini, chanterelles, girdles and bay boletes. In some forests a short walk is enough to gather mushrooms for sauce, soup and winter preserves.
