Semaglutide extends mouse lifespan more than calorie restriction

A study published in Nature found that semaglutide — a GLP-1 class drug used for type 2 diabetes and obesity — extended the lifespan of older mice and improved their cognitive and muscle function. The benefits proved broader than those achieved through diet alone.
