Albania aims to join EU by 2030: complete negotiations by end of 2027

Taulant Balla, head of the ruling Socialist Party faction in Albania, laid out a detailed plan for accession to the European Union. Accession negotiations are to be completed by Christmas 2027, with full EU membership to follow in 2030.
