The name "escolar" covers species containing specific fats that the human body cannot digest, potentially causing stomach problems. For this reason, Italy banned its sale, while in Poland it remains available in sushi restaurants and bars. The fish attracts with its delicate flavor and creamy texture, but eating it may result in unpleasant digestive issues.
