Air conditioning cuts heat-related deaths by half: Yale study
Researchers at Yale University found that air conditioning can reduce deaths linked to high temperatures by over 50%. In the United States, it prevents more than 5,000 such cases annually. However, researchers note that beyond a certain level of air conditioning adoption, further increases in its use bring no additional benefits.
