Dean from Olsztyn: AI invents court rulings and threatens legal professions

Dr hab. Krystyna Szczechowicz, dean of the law faculty at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, warns that artificial intelligence poses a serious challenge to legal education. Some practicing lawyers already face disciplinary problems for uncritically using AI, which can generate non-existent court rulings. The expert stresses the need for thorough reform of legal education.
