Remote work boosts wellbeing and retention, study of 7,700 workers finds
A new study of over 7,700 employees at a large US healthcare organisation found that remote workers reported the highest wellbeing scores (average 4.22 out of 5), ahead of hybrid (4.12) and in-office workers (3.89). Remote work was also linked to lower intentions to leave the employer. The findings surprised the researchers, including psychologist Stefanie Johnson of the University of Colorado Boulder.
