An e-sick note in eZUS isn't enough — workers must still notify their employer
Although an electronic sick note (e-ZLA) is sent automatically to the eZUS system, employees are still required to inform their employer about their absence directly. Several days of silence can be treated as a breach of employment duties and may have serious consequences. Workers should notify their employer immediately, stating the reason and expected duration of absence; a delay can only be excused in exceptional circumstances.
