Heatwave hits 40°C: Poles flock to Łęczyńsko-Włodawskie Lake District to cool off

Poland is again gripped by a heatwave with temperatures reaching up to 40°C in some areas. Poles are heading en masse to lakes and water bodies to escape the heat. The Łęczyńsko-Włodawskie Lake District in eastern Poland has become a particularly popular destination.
