Regular sauna use could help people cope better during heatwaves, scientists say
A growing body of research suggests that regular heat training — including sauna use — may help the body adapt to heatwaves. The studies come amid record temperatures in western Europe, which experienced its hottest June on record. The UK Health Security Agency issued heat health alerts across much of England during the country's fourth heatwave of the year. Scientists nonetheless urge caution about using saunas during extreme heat.
