The Zadar Archipelago: Dalmatia's islands, including heart-shaped Galešnjak

The Zadar Archipelago off the Dalmatian coast consists of hundreds of islands and islets, some inhabited and some entirely wild. The most famous is Galešnjak, which seen from above has an almost perfectly heart-shaped outline that earned it global recognition. Each island offers something distinct — a unique landscape, shape or historic landmark.
