Over half of Polish pastry shops fail inspections — wrong ingredients, missing labels

Poland's Agricultural and Food Quality Inspection (IJHARS) found irregularities in more than half of the pastry shops it inspected. The most common problems were incorrect product composition and missing or inadequate labelling. The widely publicised case of "jagodzianki" (blueberry buns) containing no blueberries was cited as part of a broader pattern of mislabelling.
