From 8 July, Polish labour inspectors can reclassify B2B and freelance contracts as employment
From 8 July 2025, amendments to the Polish State Labour Inspectorate (PIP) Act came into force. Inspectors now have the power to reclassify B2B and freelance contracts as standard employment contracts if specified legal conditions are met. The changes could significantly affect companies relying on flexible forms of employment and self-employed individuals operating under business contracts.
