EU Commission: Poland does not meet criteria for euro adoption
The European Commission's latest convergence report concludes that no country outside the eurozone, including Poland, currently meets all the criteria required to adopt the euro. The assessment covers inflation, budget deficit, exchange rate stability, and other benchmarks. Not all non-eurozone countries are rushing to join, the report notes.
