California drivers sue BP and 7-Eleven for using AI to inflate gas prices
California drivers have filed a proposed class action lawsuit against gas station operators including BP, Circle K, Marathon, 7-Eleven, Walmart and Albertsons. The suit alleges the companies used an AI-based tool that monitors competitors' prices to coordinate artificially high fuel prices.
