WWII 'Death Railway' station re-emerges from Thai reservoir during dam maintenance
Nithe Station, part of the infamous World War II Death Railway built by prisoners of war and forced civilian labour, will become accessible this summer in Thailand. Officials are draining a reservoir over the site to carry out dam maintenance work. The station is normally submerged underwater and will only be temporarily visible during the works.
